Regionals: 16 regional sites are awarded with 4 schools assigned to each. Teams play a mini-tournament to determine a winner, who will move to the next round. Super-Regionals: 8 sites with 2 schools each playing a best of 3. The 8 winners advance to the College World Series in Omaha.
College World Series: 8 schools play a 2-game knockout tournament in Omaha to determine a national champion.
