Craig Stamey is a former College Baseball player active in 1988. He played College Baseball for the Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers and 1 year of NCAA Division I College Baseball for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks [Metro Conference] where he was teammates with future Major Leaguers Tripp Cromer and Brian Williams. Participated in the D1 NCAA Tournament in 1988 [Regionals]. He was drafted and signed in the 9th round (216th overall) of the 1986 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft by the Minnesota Twins in the January Regular Phase.
