Jim Hibbs [James Kerr Hibbs] played Major League Baseball between 1967-1967. Hibbs is 82 years old and was born on September 10th, 1944 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He attended high school in Ventura, California where he played for the Ventura Cougars. He played 1 year of NCAA Division I College Baseball for the Stanford University Cardinal [Athletic Association of Western Universities] where he was teammates with future Major Leaguer Steve Hovley. Participated in the D1 NCAA Tournament in 1965 [Regionals]. He was drafted and signed in the 3rd round (49th overall) of the 1966 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the January Secondary Phase.
