I know you can get these stats elsewhere in real-time but I still like to add a blurb when new data is added. 2023 Playoff Batting/Pitching statistics, by series, has been added for all participating teams and the data will appear in the OTHER STATS section of player pages.

Added batting/pitching statistics for the 6 Arizona Fall League teams. The stats will appear in the "Other Batting/Other Pitching" section of each player stats page.

TBC receives between 15 and 50 visitors to the TBC office complex each Halloween. This year's plan, if candy runs out, will be to give out some doubles from my 2023 Topps set ... and maybe even throw in some 1988 Score (No rookies unless necessary) Data updates will be slower during the 2023 offseason as I once again attempt to realize the vision I have had since the mid-2000s. A faster, cleaner, deeper content site. To do that, the site will need to (mostly) be rebuilt. The goal is less about changing the content but more about improving the experience. Pages should load much more quickly. Ads should be integrated more cleanly. Updates, bug fixes and enhancements (on my end) should be quicker. The back-end architecture of page-building will change. The risk is mostly in broken nightly build scripts but I expect this only to be an issue in the early days of the change. More on this over the next few months. All of this to say that we should have a new and improved version of TBC for Opening Day 2024! Have a safe and happy Halloween! If you get any kids dressed up as baseball players at your house, give them some extra candy and a few Bowman cards if you have them nearby!

Added Uniform #s for as many minor leaguers as we could find for the 2023 season. A trivial data element but historically interesting nonetheless.

Yearly Positional Grid on player stat pages has been updated for 2023. This grid shows a high-level simple view of positions by year per player. Includes Majors and Minors

Added 2023 attendance values for all leagues in AAA, AA and the A levels. Attendance values are available since the late 1970s. Minor League data is complete for 2023. All data is available for purchase in CSV format.

Added 2023 basic fielding stats for all 202 minor league teams ranging from AAA to the Complex Leagues and Dominican Summer League. Fielding stats are now available since 1978 and are available as its own data product in the data store if interested.
