Mike Conroy grew up in Scituate, MA. As a freshman, he went to Boston College High School in Dorcester MA where he played both football and baseball. Mike was a frequent visitor to the South Shore baseball club in both Braintree and Holbrook, MA. Drafted in 2001 as a supplemental first round pick by the Indians. His pick was obtained when the Orioles signed Indians Free Agent, David Segui.
