Graduated from VMI in the spring of 2004 after a disappointing college baseball career that was hampered by injuries. Showed much promise as a young college player with a check plus arm, power at the plate, and decent speed, but a knee operation and elbow and shoulder problems in his throwing arm ended his baseball career. Now a medical student at the new medical school in Blacksburg, Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Will practice medicine in the United States Army for a minimun of 12 years upon completion of medical school in May of 2005. Greatest Hero: John Baber
