2012 DRAFT REGISTER

Updated as of the 2012 June Draft, this is a text file with every historical draft pick for all phases since 1965 listed. The data is complete.

The file is tab-delimited and easy to load into Excel 2007 or MS Access. The data includes each pick information such as round, overall, team as well as the source of the pick. If available, for each pick, player bio data is included. This information is fairly complete for recent draft picks and less complete for the older drafts. Each record includes the player's highest (known) level reached, as updated at the end of each season.

The data also includes a link to the player's TBC profile card page. The second sample at right shows what it would look like imported into Excel. Note that the draft register comes in text format since it is greater than the 65536 rows that earlier Excels allow.
